1. Why are the files generated monthly?
Wellhub plans are paid on a monthly subscription basis.
2. How can an employee understand the full breakdown of their deduction amount?
While the subscription price of a Wellhub plan is a monthly charge, users can start, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their plans at any time. Consequently, there may be partial amounts owed, in addition to the full monthly subscription amount. The Payroll Deduction File that Wellhub shares with each of its clients monthly will simply sum the amounts for each employee to one line and one deduction amount. For more details on the specifics and the breakdown behind this amount, employees can log into their Wellhub app and navigate to their Receipts and Billing History through "Account."
3. What if my payroll cycle is not monthly?
You can process the deduction in one of the payroll cycles or you can split the total amount owed and process in each cycle.
4. Tell me more about Custom Connectors.
Custom Connectors are Professional Services developed transformation Connectors that will transform the standard Deduction File content and format, as described here, into a specification aligned to your payroll system.
